About Nexus

Our Approach

Nexus Market Intelligence started in 2024. A handful of former infosec people and OSINT analysts who wanted one thing: honest data about darknet markets. We rank markets on five things that actually matter:

• Security model — is it real multisig or just marketing?
• Privacy — Monero support, KYC requirements, data leaks
• Uptime and reliability — how often does it go down?
• Dispute resolution — does the system work when something goes wrong?
• Track record — exit scams, seizures, drama

We run our own Tor monitoring nodes, do test purchases, and cross-check with forums like Dread and Recon. We don't take money from any market to say nice things.

Our Team

• crypt0_an4lyst — lead researcher, former exchange auditor (8 years). Lives and breathes multisig and MPC.
• tor_wizard — the guy who keeps our monitoring infrastructure running. Five Tor nodes, zero downtime.
• xmr_sleuth — Monero blockchain analyst. Contributes to the Monero Research Lab project in his spare time.
• opsec_mentor — writes our security guides. Knows more about adversary simulation than anyone should.

Program Details

We pay for critical vulnerabilities in darknet markets, not our own site. If you find an RCE, a private key leak, or an escrow bypass in a market we track, we want to hear about it.

Warrant Canary

We sign a new PGP statement every 14 days. If we ever receive a secret court order, the canary goes dark. That's your signal.

Ethical Principles

• ✓ No promotion of illegal activity
• ✓ No hosting of contraband or malware
• ✓ Educational and journalistic purposes only
• ✓ We report phishing sites to market admins
• ✓ We do not cooperate with LE without a canary breach

Independent Verification

Everything we publish can be verified independently. Check our PGP signatures, cross-reference our uptime data, read the same forum threads we quote. We don't ask you to trust us — we show our work.
